Day 7 Leader of the Day: Jake Nichols

Yo! So today was a nice relief from crazy awesome adventure stuff. W took a ferrry out to a little Island in Wellington Harbour called Martin/ Somes Island, many native NZ species safely strive. Only about 1000 kiwis have actually been to this very well protected island. We dug some trenches through which water will soon flow due to the terrible rainy weather. We got to see some cool native wildlife, the giant tree Weta, the heaviest insect in the world. We also saw the small native blue penguins. The gang did a great job of getting all the work done, and the team Alpha's burritos tonight were tasty!
